MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The Florida Association of Elementary and Middle School Principals is one of the organizations that make up the Florida Association of School Administrators. This year as we align goals with those of FASA, the officers and directors will focus on two main areas:
• An organization is only as strong as its membership. We would like to increase that membership this year and ask each one of you to assist by recruiting colleagues who are not yet members. Benefits of membership can be found and printed from the FASA website home page.
• Our second goal is to make our voice heard and enlighten legislators on educational issues from the practitioners’ point of view. Our number one priority this year is to seek equity with instructional personnel for the purposes of DROP and reemployment.
The Little Red Schoolhouse Award program provides all members an opportunity to submit quality programs and initiatives for recognition. Program information is available on this website and/or from your FAEMSP District Director. We encourage your participation.
Please feel free to contact me or any other member of our Board of Directors by simply going to the Board of Directors tab and contacting the appropriate person. Let us know how we can serve you.
I hope you will become an active member in our organization. Your input and participation are vital to the success of FAEMSP.
