FASA Foundation Climate & Culture Grants

FASA Foundation offered five $1,000 grants designed to support school/district culture, boost morale, and assist in teacher and staff retention. Full-service members of FASA had an opportunity to apply for these grants.

 

Below are the 2023-2024 winners with their program descriptions and program summaries.

Blanton Elem.Purpose and Key Anticipated Outcomes

This will help to bring the staff together in an informal setting and allow them to enjoy each other’s company, thus nourishing their minds, bodies, and souls. This necessary morale boost will significantly increase the happiness of our staff and help them be excited to kick of their day of teaching and learning.

ClayVirtualPurpose and Key Anticipated Outcomes
  1. Purpose for the incentives for Virtual Teachers is to make the teachers feel as special as a Brick and Mortar school and still get the recognition.
  2. Purpose for providing food, helps to get everyone together and make them feel appreciated. Teachers get to socialize with administrators, other teachers and office staff they work with. And learn new ideas for their students and get to know more of how our school administrators and office staff take on their roles.
  3. Purpose is to able to reward our teachers is to make their jobs easier and to just feel united even though they do not enter a school building everyday. Our main goal is for our students and to give a teacher of a feeling of belongness. This lets our teachers share those feelings and ideas with our students and parents.

Hope Center LogoPurpose and Key Anticipated Outcomes

Implementation will result in improved implementation of evidence based strategies in the classroom and continued retention (100% of teachers 90% of paraprofessionals) of staff.

The purpose of this program is to collect real time data from our teachers and students on school climate and culture, as well as the effectiveness or lack thereof of our current operations, processes and procedures in order to develop a strategic action plan to combat areas of need, improve our methods and yield successful academic, retention and climate results.
