New leadership is around the corner for a handful of Bay District Schools.

According to information from the district, seven local schools will have new principals for the 2024-2025 school year, which is slated to begin for students on Aug. 12. Here's what we know.

Which schools will have new principals, and who are they?

  • Margaret K Lewis School will welcome Principal Crystal Hudson.
  • Jinks Middle School will welcome Principal Chris Coan.
  • Merritt Brown Middle School will welcome Principal Amber Hart.
  • Mowat Middle School will welcome Principal Ronald Hensley.
  • Cedar Grove Elementary School will welcome Principal Crystal Boyette.
  • Lucille Moore Elementary School will welcome Principal Yesenia Llorens.
  • Parker Elementary School will welcome Principal Josephine Davis.
