While many schools are still closed, some districts across the Tampa Bay area will be reopening on Monday, October 14.

Citrus County

All schools will be open Monday, October 14th.

DeSoto County

All schools will be open Monday, October 14th.

Hardee County

Schools will be closed Monday, but will reopen to students on Tuesday.

Hernando County

Monday is a Professional Day and students are not required to be in attendance.

Highlands County

All schools will be open Monday, October 14th.

Hillsborough County

All schools will remain closed on Monday, October 14th. An update for Tuesday will be given by noon on Monday.

Manatee County

Monday, October 14th is a previously scheduled Record Day for staff and there will be no school for students. The district noted it hopes to reopen to students on Tuesday, October 15th. Parents should be updated by 5 p.m. on Monday on the status for Tuesday.

Pasco County

All schools will be closed on Monday, October 14th. The district says the closure is due to facility repairs, facility repairs, fuel shortages, and dangerous road conditions.

Pinellas County

All schools will be closed on Monday, October 14th. The district said that multiple schools are still without power. No decision has been made yet about Tuesday, October 15th but a decision should be made by noon on Monday.

Polk County

Schools will remain closed on Monday, October 14th and Tuesday, October 15th. Campuses are expected to reopen on Wednesday.

Sarasota County

All schools will remain closed on Monday, October 14th. The district said they anticipate reopening early to mid-week.

Colleges and Universities

• Saint Leo University will hold classes online Monday, October 14th through Friday, October 18th for University Campus, the Tampa Education Center, and for Adult Education locations.
• Hillsborough Community College has extended its closure through Monday, October 14th
